DEPARTMENT PROFILE
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Information Science and Engineering was started in the year 2007 – 2008 with an approved intake of 60. The department is striding in the progressive path and has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. The Department of CSE continues to recruit faculty members with high experience in academia, industry and research. The department has well equipped computer laboratories for course work, teaching and student projects. High end servers and nodes are all connected in the network with all necessary licensed software. The department is helping the students in getting exposure to cutting edge technologies by means of organizing industrial visits and technical talks from domain experts of reputed research organizations. The students are encouraged to involve themselves in creative, technical and research activities. Student's have been performing well in the university examination. The department motivates the students to create innovative and novel ideas and transforms these ideas into the innovative projects. The department works towards the overall development of the student so that they excel in every walk of life

To impart technical education in information Technology of highest standards and producing competent professional with the ability to use empowered knowledge in solving latest demands.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN CSE
Computer Science & Engineering is a branch associated with programming skills, logic, decision making with creativity and innovation with applications and solutions that touch upon most of the aspcets of our day to day life. IT professionals have huge demand both in India and abroad with a plethora of opportunities available all around. These engineers can work on software applications that benifit the society at large in day to day life.
Sectors like banking, insurance, health, medical equipments.transport,education avionics,energy provide huge opportunities for Computer Science Graduates.They also have ample opportunities in government sectors and public sectors.
Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Oracle, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T InfoTech, TCS, CTS, TechMahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, Toyota offer placements to eligible students.
DEPARTMENTAL RESOURCES
The department has well equipped ventilated class rooms with latest teaching aids, supported by eight laboratories with updated hardware and software. The departmental library is available for faculty and students providing access to reference books, text books, journals, e-resources like springer,video Lectures of NPTEL and EDUSAT.
The departmental laboratories have more than 120 Computers supported by a dedicated standby UPS.Each lab is on LAN with student terminal ratio of 1:1. All labs have internet facility with 10 Mbps dedicated line
All faculties are provided with individual chambers with a pool of secretarial assistants to assist the academic and department administration. The department has well maintained rest rooms for girls and boys, facility signboards and purified RO drinking water facility.
